Video feedback/learner response

 1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.

www - good transitions + pace at the start.

www - use of monochrome vs colour.

www - music works well with the set of images.

ebi - include media keywords in the description

ebi - video clip too long

ebi - check the draft and attention to detail

2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback.

www - clear different between parallel and contrapuntal.

www - great use of transitions.

www - well picked sound.

www - Judah featuring at the end .

www - good description and clear contrast.

www - great into and outro amazing editing.

ebi - music volume not stable.

ebi - include media in description.

ebi - fade at the end.

ebi - overlapping noise.

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' ( ebi ) underneath the rest of your feedback.

www - i think i did the task to a good standard and i think i followed the brief. The use of memories worked perfectly and the use of the wireless content videos shows the originality of my piece and that im not just using boring photos.

ebi - i think the main thing i need to do is watch my work before i submit it next time therefore it would limit the mistake like the inconsistency of of the transition and sound level which would overly improve the quality of my work.

4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video? I personally think Sophiga's was the best for following the task however Enzo's was the most interesting which a variety of different media throughout the piece of work.

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?

I personally think think that sound is the key point of a media product as it determines how the media and film in interpreted. It was proven through today that a sad audio used can turn happy images into sad ones which really highlights the importance and sound tracks in media texts and films.
