Coursework: Ignite presentation learner response

1) Type up your feedback in full including the ratings out of five for each of the categories. 

www: good intro & outro, industry and including data, good concept, good pace well rehearsed, link to other examples, good narrative, characters, media language, stereotypes, target audience,one episode a week, good slides & images and amazing presenting.

ebi: lack of narrative theory, link to propp, mise en-scene and too much text on some slides. ( cant read some of the text. )

2) Use this feedback, comments from peers and your own reflection on your presentation to self-assess and write your own detailed WWW and EBI for your coursework concept and presentation as a whole.

www: i think i presented very well and came prepared to talk about each and every slide.

ebi: i think i need to work on my time management as i was over talking on slides meaning i was speaking over 15 seconds meaning i have less time to cover the next slide. Another thing would be my lack of media theory and media language was a key problem as i would have a lot of detail in my explanation but not link in back to key theorist.

3) Write a paragraph discussing how your presentation will lead into your actual coursework production. Do you need to update your statement of intent? Does your concept offer enough clarity? Is it appropriate for the audience specified in the brief? Is it achievable to film with the resources you have available? Can you add media terminology or theory to your statement of intent now you have reflected on your presentation and seen others?  

For my statement of intent i need to update it as i need to add many more aspects on how I can relate theorists to my extract and my 3 minute tv crime drama. My presentation highlighted all the key features and aspects of my tv crime drama including the target audience, characters and plot of the extract as well. My concept provides a clear storyline which most importantly not leaving my viewers and audience confused, but rather a sense of mystery and interests in finding out what happens next.

  1) Choose at least   three  TV dramas similar to your concept and watch at least one scene from each. Make   bullet-point notes   on everything you watch, commenting on camerawork, editing, sound and mise-en-scene. Fashioned for Deception: Camerawork used many shots to build tension such as, long takes, low angle shots and over the shoulder shots to provide the viewers a feeling of closeness and viewpoint.
